Bouncing Bean is a small studio in Frome, Somerset. This page covers bouncingbean.uk: what we collect when you visit or get in touch, why, and what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@bouncingbean.uk.

Who we are

Bouncing Bean Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 12962713. Our registered office is 33 Boston Road South, Holbeach, Spalding, PE12 7LR. We're responsible for the personal data described here.

When you get in touch

If you email us, use the contact form or leave your details in the chat, we get your name, email address and message. We use them to reply and to talk about your project, and for nothing else. We don't add you to a mailing list or pass your details on.

Messages from the contact form reach our inbox through Postmark, an email delivery service.

The chat

The chat on this site is answered by AI. What you type is sent to Anthropic (the company behind Claude) to write the replies. Anthropic processes it for us and doesn't use it to train its models. To keep an eye on how the chat is doing, we log each message and reply for 30 days, with email addresses and phone numbers removed.

Analytics

We count visits with Fathom Analytics and our own analytics tool. Neither uses cookies or tries to identify you; they store a little in your browser so a visit isn't counted twice. We see totals, such as how many people read a page and where they came from, not who you are.

Cookies

The site sets two cookies, both needed for it to work: one holds your session and one protects forms from cross-site attacks. They expire after two hours. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Fonts

Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google sees your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@bouncingbean.uk and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
